was born in Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1972. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia (1996), where he also received his Master’s of Science on “Development of Distributed Multimedia Applications” in 1999. Before joining Fraunhofer Institute for Media Communications, he worked as a teaching assistant from 1996-2000 at the Department of Electrical Engineering and as a research assistant at the Department of Telecommunications, at the University of Zagreb. He joined Fraunhofer Institute for Media Communications in 2000 and has been working on CAT (Communication of Art and Technology), a project sponsored by German Federal Ministry for Education and Research since then. In this project, he is in charge of for the distributed multimedia applications and systems and works on the implementation of the streaming media archives, mobile streaming lab and tele-lectures client for netzspannung.org media arts platform.
